plasma widget
« on: May 21, 2012, 02:03:58 PM »
Usually in KDE, that i use from about two years, i install some plasma widget (gmail-plasmoid, veromix, yawp [weather], a translator which icon is a world with two flags on it); some of them works (gmail), others not (veromix) or aren't present in apper (yawp and the translator); how can i have them working (maybe there are some missing libraries) or where can i find them (even their source codes, to compile in bridge)? I use alarm-clock too (waking up bell: really better than kalarm), but it is not present in apper... Any informations will be really appreciated.  ;)

They're probably in the AUR instead of the main repos, for example, here's the veromix one. Install it with "packer -S kdeplasma-addons-applets-veromix".

Packer will install AUR packages or ones from the main repos, you'll have to see if the widget is in either of those first.
