Network Manager not showing up
« on: May 05, 2012, 02:41:52 AM »
Ive been using Bridge for about 1 month in my VM and today when i install the GNOME version in my pc , the networkmanager didnt show up . I tried using the command
sudo rc.d networkmanager restart

But it gave me the following output

:: Daemon script restart does not exist or is not executable.
Im gonna try search the web but i would be happy if i get an answer from Bridge's home forum . I have gotta say that bridge is a wonderful distro and it simplifies the configuration of arch . Keep rocking guys !

Which desktop are you using, and have you upgraded the system?

are you sure that network manager is installed ?
check it by "sudo pacman -Ss NetworkManager" it will tell you if is installed...
