INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

Hello all,
I did a fresh install of Bridge XFCE this morning and I'm getting this message on boot. I did a search for the message on these forums and on Google, but the solution(s) seem to depend on the particular distro. Has anyone seen this with Bridge? I consider myself an intermediate user and I've used Archbang for a while, so I have fair understanding of the ecosystem. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

That can happen on any Arch distro, and it is annoying...You can get to the desktop by doing CTRL+Alt+F1, logging in, and running "startx". From there you can tweak and upgrade the system. What GPU do you have?

Well, for whatever reason, after a couple of reboots with the same result, it started right up. fwiw, the graphic card is a nvidia 9600gt mobile. Seems to be going ok now. Thanks for the quick feedback. :-)

 Hello,

    I install Bridge 2012.5 XFCE and i have the same problem, but i solve the problem :
 - after the message (INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes) appear log in system with your user (created in installation proccess) (I made a system update with "sudo pacman -Syy" , "sudo pacman -Syuf" but i think it's not necessary)
 - after "log in" type next command : "sudo nano /etc/inittab"
 - search in file from this line "x:5:respawn:/usr/sbin/lightdm >& /dev/nul"
 - change lightdm in lxdm
 - after change press "Ctrl+o" to save changes and "Ctrl+x" to exit
 - now type "sudo nano /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf"
 - search in file from line "#session=/usr/bin/start...."
 - delete # from front line and put xfce4 instead of points   (need to look like tis "session=/usr/bin/startxfce4")
 - after change press "Ctrl+o" to save changes and "Ctrl+x" to exit
 - type "sudo reboot" in command line for reboot
 - now must work

and I had to reinstall... as finally due to a lot of config modes and package tinkering I lost terminal functionality and had Only 1 terminal and lost Vi and Nano keyboard recognition.
