package manager and graphic configuration
« on: April 26, 2012, 02:02:53 AM »
Hi,
Would be good for newbies have some graphic package manager (like yumex in fedora or synaptic in pclinuxos) and some graphical configuration like pclinuxos control center in pclinuxos... I know that Arch have different ideology and is not hard to configure (as I heard) but anyway would be nice ;)
For now I'm/was zen-mini user with is build on pclinuxos so there was everything in one control center and it was nice in my opinion...
That's just my idea not criticism :P
Regards,
siamer

Yes, I have been thinking about a control center and software center lately...

What you can do is enter "packer yaourt" and it will come up with some options if you pick 0 4 it will install a yaourt gui which will at least do some things for you search all packages and whatnot pacmanxg is also an AWESOME tool. After a while it will all come together. Pacman is by far the most powerful of all package managers so just play around with it until you get it
Time itself is not linear in the quantum sense. Instead, everything is happening all at once, yet as humans perception is arranged in such a way that things APPEAR to be linear. Once that perception of linear time can be transcended, it becomes possible to SEE that "all possibility" exists simultaneously
